Ruby and Ginger, The Original Nappy Purse and Changing Mat-Review
Ruby and Ginger is a lovely, West-Yorkshire based company run since 2009 by two mums (Liz and Brenda) and is designed for 'families on the move'. They create fun and functional products in beautifully-designed fabrics for young children when out and about. We were recently lucky enough to be sent this product to review and have been putting it through it's paces.
The Original Nappy Purse and Changing Mat comes in three fabric options and has a little phone pocket inside. It has a fab terry toweling changing mat enclosed and contains a Ruby and Ginger plastic refillable wipes case. I managed to get 3 size 4+ nappy's, my phone, bank card, the wipes case plus extra wipes and the changing mat in it, all neatly encased and was still able to close the purse neatly with the velcro 'clasp'. Little monkey and I have have used this ingenious bit of kit on it's own, under the pushchair, hooked on the pushchair, held in his or my hand and also inside his little backpack and my regular bag! Used in any of these ways it has been so handy to whip it away for a quick nappy change on the go. Little monkey has used the soft mat on some grass to have his nappy changed, the perfect size for little bodies and bottoms alike. I chose this Funky Flowers design as we have a purple pushchair and I knew I would hang it from the handle or place it in the basket below and it compliments the colour very well. I'm sure it will also look fab in my new purple satchel too, a great way of changing a normal bag into a nappy bag.....something right up my street.
Even little monkey has been keen to carry this beauty :)
Would I recommend this product to others? Of course I would. At £20 it is a fab price too. We will continue to use this purse until there is no longer any need to. Why not take a look at the other products Ruby and Ginger do. They can also be found on Twitter and Facebook too.
