Here they are in no particular order!
Taking the monkeys to Lego Land Windsor
We took the monkeys for big monkeys birthday treat and had a fab day. You can see our post here. The weather was great, the monkeys had a ball and I particularly remember little monkey loving Mini Land so much that we could not drag him away from there! He was fascinated by the trains and buses going round and all the other things happening. We will definitely be going back (very soon if we can!)
Sitting with some amazing inspirational bloggers at The Mad Blog Awards
Back in September I was delighted to attend the Mad Blog Awards in London. Considering I had only been blogging since the end of March I felt very very privileged to be there and thrilled to meet some amazing bloggers. The opportunity to meet some incredibly inspirational people was awesome. I had a fab night and am really please I entered a photo competition to get there. You can read all about my night here!
Starting my blog
At the end of march I started this blog. I really cannot believe how much fun it has been. I have really enjoyed keeping a record of all the things we have done as a family, the places we have been and the friends I have made. Blogging has opened up a whole new world. I plan to continue to nurture and grow this little old blog of mine and look forward to meeting more
Watching the monkeys settle into school & Preschool
Last year saw big monkey moving into year one and little monkey starting Preschool. They both settled in really well and we are really pleased with our choice of school and Preschool for the boys. Big monkeys classmates are great and he seems very happy. He is doing great and most importantly enjoys learning and being at school. Little monkey very quickly got used to going to Preschool and has taken a liking to his keyworker. She is lovely and is really good with him. We love it there and both feel they did an amazing job getting big monkey prepared for school. I have no doubt they will do the same for little monkey.
Taking part in the #MatildaMae Welly Walk
Back in November we all went to the MatildaMae Welly Walk at Beale Park, Reading. It was a family day held in memory of Matilda Mae who sadly passed away at 9 months old. Although a very sad reason for being there, the day was really special and we both came away feeling something that can't really be put into words. Of course the monkeys are too young to understand why we were there but they really enjoyed taking part in the day. Here is our post.
I'm hoping that Jennifer from My Mummy's Pennies, Carly from Mummy and the Chunks, Emma from Crazy With Twins, Clare from Emmy's Mummy and Gemma from My Mills Baby will share their best memories of 2013.
I'd love to here what yours was.
