2014 - My Highs and Lows!

Tagged by the lovely Jane from Our Little Escapades who I had the pleasure of meeting last year, these are my highs and lows from 2014.

1. What was your happiest event?
I can't think of one single event that was my happiest from last year. There were several! Taking the monkeys back to Thomas Land was one highlight!
2. What was the saddest thing to happen?
Very early on in January we said goodbye to my last remaining Grandparent.
 

3. What was the most unlikely thing to happen that actually went 
ahead and did?
Hubby and I decided we really needed a weekend away alone. Of course with young children this is hard and things crop up to stop things in their tracks but we got away, and although we missed the monkeys, we loved having a break and some adult time together.

4. Who let you down?
I can't think anyone did! We try not to be reliant on others that way we don't get let down!

5. Who supported you?
Friends and family but we supported each other mainly. Mostly we work as a team.
 

6. Tell us what you learned.
I learnt a fair bit of new stuff blogging wise and learnt there are lots of fantastic people still out there.
 

7. Tell us what made you laugh.
Has to be the monkeys! They can make me cry too of course but they do all sorts of things all the time that make me laugh!
8. Tell us the things that made you cry.
My Nan's funeral, other people being upset, the monkeys being poorly. All sorts of things make me cry.
 

9. Tell us three things your child or children did to make you feel     proud. 
Little monkey settled into his last year at Preschool really well. Big monkey continued to do really well at school. They were very good for Nanny and Grandad when we went away for the weekend.
10. Tell us the things that made you proud of yourself.
At the end of last year I decided enough was enough and that I needed to get fit and lose weight. I have been going to the gym 2-3 times a week since and have lost about 10lbs.

  
11. Tell us the challenges you overcame.
Getting back in the gym and eating healthily! I love my food but got into the habit of eating for the sake of eating. I'd not exercised for about 18 months. 

12. Tell us the things you would like to change about your life in
2015.
If we could we'd love to move into a bigger house. I want to continue to lose more weight and exercise regularly. We are taking the monkeys on a UK holiday and we want to continue to enjoy family time as much as possible.
