The monkeys have recently been sent a magical box full of Easter crafting bits, so we set to work to get creative!
Lots of bits and pieces were inside the box and my inital thoughts were to make an Easter nest together. We did, but little monkey soon got over zealous and went off to play, leaving big monkey and daddy to make the nest. My contribution, a pink bunny and the photo's!
Inside the box
What we made
Big monkey started by decorating the eggs. He chose to use the 'Happy Easter' paper strips to decorate them with. He used the bostik tape discs to secure the ends of the strips.
Little monkey was going to decorate an egg too but he soon got bored after being rather (egg)citable! Like what I did there?!
Big monkey and I collectively decorated the little trinket box and the lovely pink rabbit is all my creation using the googly eyes and Bostik glu pen. OK, not my best attempt right?
This delightful nest was constructed by Daddy and big monkey. They were both very proud of their creation. I think it's great. The shredded tissue paper, googly eyes and fluffy balls, plus MDF rabbit were put to good use. The little orange and yellow baby birds look very cosy in there.
The decorated bag, which I think we'll use for an Easter Egg hunt was a joint effort between myself and big monkey. We used the Bostik glu pen to stick the ribbon down and the lovely foam flowers to make the bag look pretty. Shown here along with the other fab things we made during an afternoon of quality time having crafting fun.
Another look at the bag, which the monkeys will no doubt fill with the eggs we will hide for them on Easter Sunday. We thoroughly enjoyed making these Easter delights, thanks to Tots100 and Bostik.
We received a seasonal crafting box from Bostik as part of the Tots100/Bostik craft bloggers club.
