It's Beginning To Look a Lot Like Christmas!

I know I know, it's still November but I'm especially excited about Christmas this year and am well on the way to being very organised and ready!

Most of the presents are bought but still need to be wrapped. I used to love the wrapping but now since having the monkeys and getting them lots of small stocking gifts I do find it a bit tedious. I shall be doing it bit by bit!

We've booked to eat out on Christmas Day this year. I'm so looking forward to not doing the food shop a few days before the big day......the rush and stampede for the fresh foods always stresses me.

Gosh I sound like a right bah humbug don't I! I do really love Christmas honestly.

We've even booked a family trip to see Santa on Christmas Eve and we're having breakfast with the man himself too. So we're pretty ready.......and looking forward to it!

This year we have a 6ft real tree being delivered from Pines and Needles on December the 1st. I can't wait! The monkeys are getting mini trees too. Our Nordman Fir tree is non drop, child friendly, for indoor use and not too spiky to touch. It sounds perfect for us!
The tree is being delivered via courier all ready for it's Christmas with us. I'm not sure which colour theme I'm going with yet this year as tend to alternate between red and gold and a mix of everything. We'll see but I've been buying red so maybe the decision is already made.

Pines and Needles trees are sustainably grown. They are members of the British Christmas Tree Growers Association, and do their utmost to positively contribute to the wider community through their working practises, environmental responsibility, and charitable partnerships. They have 20 stores in and around London and the South of England where you can go and choose your own tree but like us if you are too far away they deliver too. If the tree you've ordered arrives and you don't like it, you can return it for another! No quibble.
I have a 10% discount on tree orders (over £50) to share with my readers (plus free mistletoe). Just use the code MONKEY during checkout.

Pines and Needles are running some great competitions on their social media channels to win some fab prizes, starting on Monday 23rd November with Elfie (selfie) where you can win a tree on them for next Christmas.

We'll be posting a review of our tree once it's here, up and decorated. Please do pop back and take a look! Happy Christmas tree shopping!
