Now I have about half a dozen dresses hanging in my wardrobe and it feels good. I've got over my hatred for my legs, I got them out in the fresh air for some colour last year and embrassed feeling more womanly.
Thanks to House of Fraser I now have another two dresses. With many different styles and designs to choose from there is a designer dress for every girl! I was tasked with finding a dress for £30 and managed to find not one but two! The first, this fab Yumi Flora and Fauna Postcard Dress is down from £50 to £20. This fit and flare retro inspired dress suits my shape and is my preferred style of dress. With a removable belt it can be worn on it's own, over leggings, under a cardi and dressed up or down! I've teamed it up with jeggings now, but will be wearing it with Birkenstocks in the summer for a relaxed look. This Yumi dress is sold in sizes 8-16 and has a zipped neck line at the back. I love the print. It's very me! I'm delighted the size 8 that I ordered fits. Teaming it with a contrasting coloured cardi over leggings will mean I can wear it all year round.
I'm loving the amount of choice house of Fraser has to offer in their designer dress selection. There is something for every budget! I may have a ball to go to much later in the year and relish the thought of searching for a dress for it. Something long and flattering. I cannot wait to start my search!
Now I'm smaller and more confident I'm loving being more feminine again. I just need my 5yr old to stop looking up under my dress and telling me he can see my knickers! Cheeky monkey!
Thanks to House of Fraser for the dresses. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
