With the warmth of Summer luring just on the horizon, the recent heatwave acting as some serious inspiration and the kids pestering you about beach days and everything Legoland it’s that time of the year again to look outdoors and plan a summer of kid friendly (and budget friendly!) adventures.
If, like me, you’re struggling to compete with the ever-expensive submissions of your think-money-grows-on-trees children, check out this handy ebook created by over 101 of the Best British Bloggers. With hundreds of activities, destinations, and just general FUN each of the ideas has been tested by a blogger just like myself and is personal recommendation straight from the heart and hopefully won’t cost a pretty penny.
My suggestion for the book was JIMMY’S FARM, IPSWICH. I wrote…
"We love Jimmy’s Farm near Ipswich. Great family day out for around £18 for a family of four! There is just so much to do. First there are the animals which the children adore and the educational talks are really interesting. Lots to do and just all round good fun!"
No doubt we will be heading back to Jimmy’s Farm at some point this summer. The drive is only a short distance, the weather will be warm enough to see all of the animals and the price won’t be too devastating to our budget.
Let me know if you have a destination favourite from the ebook!
