Ticktock Books-Review

Tictock is the Children's imprint of Octopus books and they have some great non-fiction books for children of all ages. We were sent one of their books to review during the summer holidays and you can read all about it here. This one has been available since July this year.
My Big Animal Book

This is a hard backed book aimed at children aged 5-7 years. It's rrp is £6.99. Big monkey has sat with me several times and looked through the book. It is great for discussing what can be seen. It has great facts and photo's of animals including those in the jungle and rainforest, those that live under the sea, on the farm and animals at home. The pages are made from thick glossy paper and the book is pleasing to the eye.
Did you know a Lions roar can be heard 5 miles away? Or a Dogs sense of smell is much better than a humans?
There are lots of facts to keep children interested whilst at the same time learning something new about animals and looking at great pictures. Big monkey certainly seemed to like it.
A great book from a range of children's books that are fun, educational, easy to read and colourful. One to look after and keep for little monkey too. He loves animals, so this will be right up his street.
You can see more of the Ticktock books here.

*We were sent this book free of charge for review purposes. All thoughts and opinions are my own*
