My Yellow Umbrella - eBook Review

I was recently asked if I would like to review an eBook by the author of the book, Chris Robertson. I have to say that until now the monkeys and I have only ever read paper books, so I was keen to see how an eBook would fair with them. Chris is an author and illustrator of children's books and this one is his latest. He lives in Pasadena with his wife and three boys.
My Yellow Umbrella is a story about a little girls imagination whilst using her yellow umbrella. She shows how, with a little thought you can conjure up all sorts of magical things from the simplest of objects and feel on top of the world. Something I'm sure most of us have dreamt of from time to time. The illustrations really do make you believe in this magical tale. We were sent an audio version too which we listened to whilst scrolling through the illustrations. This really added to the fantasy. Big monkey loved the book as much as I do. A lovely read, with fab illustrations by Chris himself and a great story. The age level is targeted at 2-7yrs so about right for the monkeys.
I cannot recommend this book highly enough....I can't speak for big monkey but I was left with a lovely warm glow inside! Go buy it and read it yourself, then let me know if your little ones love it too!

My Yellow Umbrella Kindle version can be purchased here. Why not take a look at the other books Chris Robertson has written, on his website and follow him on Twitter. He can also be found on Facebook.

*I was sent this eBook to review. All thoughts and opinions are my own*
