Good Friday-A day at Jimmy's Farm

This week we have been away on holiday. More on that to follow, but today we visited Jimmy's Farm on our way back home. I have to say, I was very excited about going there and I was not disappointed! On our arrival, just after we had parked the car, I spotted Jimmy working on the farm, around the back, away from the public. I assume he is seen a lot and sometimes mingles with the visitors? I've no idea really.
None of us knew what to expect, but we were delighted with our day there. Here are just a few of the photo's I took today.
Big monkey took this photo of the tractor he spotted by the car park. There really was so much to see. Jimmy has made the farm lots of fun.

Both monkeys enjoyed feeding the animals, of which there were plenty. Everything is set out clearly and signposted along the nature trail.
The monkeys loved the children's play areas and strolling around the farm, looking at everything.

The Butterfly house was open for the first day this season, and was amazing! I got some great photo's.
This was outside the restaurant, opposite the kitchen garden. Little monkey recognised him as 'Spider Man' immediately.

How gorgeous are these two playing at Jimmy's!
I was delighted to walk into the woods towards the den building, amongst all these bluebells. They looked like a carpet of purple.

The monkeys loved the den building camp in the woods, as did lots of other families in there. I enjoyed capturing the bluebells again!

Finally they rested after a lovely day at the farm. I can't wait to go back. The Joules Store is definitely worth another visit, as is the farm shop. Well all of it really! Maybe next time it will be warmer and less windy though. Oh, and I highly recommend you try the sausages!
