Harry and the Hot Lava - Digital Book Review

Remember we reviewed a great book by American author Chris Robertson My Yellow Umbrella? Well, now Chris has another new book about to be released called Harry and the Hot Lava. We've once again been asked to take a look at it prior to it's release this coming week. You can read about Chris the author here.
Chris say's "Harry is a little boy with a big imagination. One day, a simple game of 'don't step on the hot lava' turns into an adventure he'll never forget! This children's picture book has fun simple text perfect for beginning readers and story time".
We've read and taken a look at an advance digital copy of Chris' book, which I feel is as fun as his last and one that will capture kids imagination. Released on July 15th by Xist Publishing, you will be able to downloaded it here. Once again colourful illustrations help tell the story of Harry as his imagination runs away with him on his adventure. It has the style associated with Chris Robertson's last book and flowed well when I read it to the monkeys, who really liked it. Big monkey read some of the pages to me and asked questions about hot lava. At aged 6yrs it seemed to hold his interest well!
Good luck with the book Chris. I'm sure it will be a great success! I'm linking this post up with the Mama Mummy Mum 'Read with me' linky. If you would like to see what other books Chris Robertson has written do take a look at his facebook page and follow him on twitter.
