4M Science Range Light-Up Space Planetarium - Review

When I was asked if we would like to review the Light-Up Space Planetarium from Great Gizmos I knew this would be of great interest to big monkey. He is at the age where he is interested in the stars in the sky at night and the asks questions about the moon and other planets, so this seemed like a fab opportunity.
The space station is a mini night light, night sky planetarium and projector in one! Ideal for ages 6+ and suitable for both boys and girls. It costs £12.99. Not suitable for children under 3yrs due to small parts.
In the box you get: Projector base plate, projector legs x 3, torch body set including 2 LR44 batteries, transparent dome, film sheets, a felt tip pen, screws and instructions.
Daddy and big monkey took very little time to put together the planetarium and then they quickly went off to big monkeys bedroom to test 'their' new toy! You can use it as a night sky planetarium, use the film sheets to design your own planetarium. Use it for night sky projection, a space night light and torch projector. Big monkey quickly designed his own planetarium using the sheets and pen.
The space station is smaller than I thought it would be but is otherwise a great bit of kit. I would recommend this for any science mad stargazing, planet loving youngster.
