Well yesterday the monkeys started back at school, so their summer holiday is well and truly over! We've done some amazing things though and fun was (mostly) had by all! Thanks largely to blogging, we've been on four awesome big adventures in the last six weeks or so.....A day out in London up The Shard, A day at Peppa Pig World, LolliBop and Thomas Land! Of course we've had some smaller adventures too. Trips to the park, we visited friends at the coast, picnics, tenpin bowling, narrow boating with Nanny and Grandad, soft play, train rides on Southend Pier and lots more.
There has been indoor time too and quieter days with me going out to work a few days a week but I feel this has meant the monkeys got a even mix of chill out time verses fun and excitement, therefore not expecting to do something every single day. We've really enjoyed our summer and although nice to get back into a routine I'm not going to relish the school uniform ironing each weekend and the school runs!
Here are some photo's from some of the best bits of our six weeks together!
