Laser Pegs & Megableu - Review

The monkeys were very lucky to get a huge box of toys from Laser Pegs and Megableu to review a while back.
Inside the huge cardboard box was.....
Laser Pegs 12 in 1 Indie Car and Cobra Attack, Ultimate Superman Chase Rhino, Creepy Hand and Ghost Hunt all from Megableu.
I've decided to feature the Laser Pegs and Ultimate Spider man Chase Rhino in this post. First up is the Megablue Ultimate Spider man Chase Rhino toy.
Inside the box you get: 1 Spider-Man electronic projector, 1 electronic gun and rules of the game. It requires 4 AA and 3 AAA batteries which are not included. The aim of the game is to help Spider man chase rhino. Spider man jumps on his base and projects rhino shadows on the walls and ceiling. "Now it's up to you to eliminate the rhino using your rechargeable gun and defend the city"!
After we had fitted batteries the monkeys set about seeing how to play and immediately got the hang of using the electronic gun to eliminate the rhino laser that showed even in the day light. It was easy to play. There are three levels (easy, medium and fast). Each session lasts 90 seconds. The game is noisy but they loved it!
It's suitable from 5 years+ and is for 1+ players. It retails at £32.99.
The Laser Pegs 12 in 1 Indy Car set is aimed at children ages 5+.
"A must-have for any construction fan, Laser Pegs are amazing light-up construction toys that light up in all the colours of the rainbow. Laser Pegs is also compatible with virtually all other constructions sets, so kids can combine their existing construction collections with new light-up Laser Pegs". This is great as we have loads!
"The Laser Pegs range includes cool vehicles, a dinosaur, helicopter and many more exciting models to choose from. The range is available from £14.99 to £69.99 rrp". This set costs £30. Although aged 7yrs big monkey needed help from Daddy to build the indie car as the instructions are quite complex! He did try his best but found it much easier to construct it together.
The set takes AA batteries which do not come supplied. The triangle power base supplies the lights to the car and there are several settings to chose from. This set has 20 laser pegs (the clear bricks) and 84 construction bricks. Along with the indy car this set can also be used to make: a transport shuttle, T1 submarine, 2 stage rocket, 4 wheeler, a hovercraft, mini space shuttle, a mini monster truck, mars mini bot, a starship, old time tractor and v racer.
With several sets to choose from I think these laser pegs sets will be great for any construction lover (like the monkeys) wanting something slightly different from the norm. Great for slightly older children I would say and a bonus that they light up! Also fab value for money with 12 models in 1!

We were sent these toys for the purpose of this review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
