Clothing from FG4 - Review

FG4 clothing is new from the founder of Next, George at Asda and Per Una at M&S, George Davies. Following international success the brand is now launching in the UK. I was excited to be introduced to this new (to the UK) brand.

Selling women's and children's clothing I chose garments for both of the monkeys and myself.

I have to say from ordering to delivery and unwrapping, then wearing I've been hugely impressed.
I ordered for myself the Candice Bolero to wear over a dress I already own, which I'm planning on wearing for hubby's work Christmas Do. For every day wear I also ordered myself the Tiffany Indigo jean.
For little monkey I ordered the Belize Tee and the Bronte Tee. Big monkey got the Conrad Jersey and the Indigo Tee.
The wrapping and attention to detail is fabulous. A really lovely touch. Everything was individually wrapped in tissue paper with branded ribbon tags on. The garments each came with colourful FG4 clothing tags attached via ribbon and a tiny safety pin.
Each garment made to an exceptional quality that has washed up well. I'm delighted with my choices. Whilst being 4yrs old (almost 5) little monkey is small and there isn't the option to buy aged 4-5, so I opted for 3-4 (which fit him perfectly with room to grow). The next available size up in all the boys clothing range is 5-6 which I believe would be too big for him.
Both monkeys love their new togs which I feel look great on them. The fit for bigger monkey (size 7-8) was perfect too. Their clothes have washed well and will look great with whatever they choose to wear them with.
Being short I was worried the jeans I ordered might be too long but being skinny fit they are fine. The fit is great on me. They come with a narrow belt which helps to dress them up or down. I ordered a 10 but think an 8 would have fit equally well too. Next time I know which size to go for. The bolero top is just what I was after. Made from gold lurex yarn its ideal to go over a dress or with the top and jeans above. The woman's clothing starts from a size 6 and goes up to a size 18 in much of the range.

Anything we dislike? The 'missing' 4-5 size would be useful in the boys range and more choice from each category would be desirable but I assume this will come as the brand grows! Having pointed out those things they would not stop me from shopping with FG4. I would recommend others to their easy to navigate website.

All orders over £25 are delivered free in the UK.

We were given credit in order to review for FG4. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
