Fireman Sam Electronic Pontypandy Fire Station - Review

Little monkey has always loved Fireman Sam so was thrilled when I surprised him with a delivery from Character. The Fireman Sam Electronic Pontypandy Fire Station! Sent for us to review, he could not wait until I unpacked it so he could play.
Fireman Sam’s fire station burned down in 2015. He now has a brand new one in the TV series. This new toy is the first one of this new fire station and replicates the one in the show.
Suitable for children aged 3+ the Fireman Sam Electronic Pontypandy Fire Station is a great portable packed play set with a carry handle. The set folds out in play and can be closed again to carry elsewhere. With lights, sounds and phrases it really helps to capture kids imaginations and bring the set to life!
Just like the one on the TV show children will love this play set, with it's turntable (for Jupiter, sold separately), the lift which can be raised and lowered, a vehicle maintenance ramp and much more! Little monkey particularly loves the Fireman's pole.
The removable 'computer' control console (which is blue) contains the battery compartment for the lights and sounds. Batteries are not supplied. Here you can see on the map where the emergency is and hear the sounds and phrases (from the show).
I do think it's a shame this set doesn't come with Jupiter (I really thought we had one). We don't so we had to improvise with a different fire engine. I was also surprised the batteries were not supplied.

Overall the play set seems robust, lots of fun and most importantly little monkey likes it! It's RRP is £39.99.

The brief video gives an example of some of the sounds and phrases only.

We were sent this play set for the purpose of this post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
