Imaginext Power Rangers Morphin’ Megazord - Review

The monkeys have recently taken a bigger interest in the Power Rangers and have been acting out the moves (much to my annoyance when they are meant to be getting ready for school!). This heightened interest has come at just the right time, as luck would have it we were offered an Imaginext Power Rangers Morphin’ Megazord to review! Sent with a Power rangers figure pack both of them were so excited when a huge box arrived for them.
Key features include:

The Power Rangers Playset has 4 activation Power Pads -

  1. Turn the Power Pad on his left shoulder for awesome transformation: the chest and shoulder panels open and a cannon pops up!
  2. Turn another Power Pad on the cannon to fire projectiles which are included in the set.
  3. Turn the 3rd Power Pad above his left knee to raise projectile launcher and fire!
  4. Turn the 4th Power Pad above right knee to activate chomping action.
We were keen to get the set unboxed and in use but this took a few minutes due to the usual (over the top) packing ties etc. Soon rectified the playset is ready to use!
It looks cool doesn't it! I let the monkeys discover the things the Megazord can do for themselves and they soon discovered the play possibilities it has!
Bright, colourful and hard wearing like all Fisher Price Imaginext playsets, I was worried the monkeys rough play may break it. However I have been proved wrong! It's withstood being knocked over and more!
The figure pack we were set has enhanced their play and imagination whilst discovering what fun this Imaginext Power Rangers Morphin’ Megazord brings.
Here's the Projectiles! Watch out! There are discs that can be fired at the enemy.
The claw like hands open and both arms move. The Megazords eyes light up when the top left power pad is turned and his chest opens!
Both monkeys are loving the playset which still gets played with most days. Its nice you can unpack it at the start and get straight to play. No construction needed and batteries are already supplied for his flashing eyes!
Two Power Ranger figures are included along with the discs and projectiles. With a RRP of £62.99 I think this toy will be a huge hit this Christmas!
Anything we don't like?

Not as yet. It's robust, keeps little monkey (in particular) entertained for sometime and encourages imagination.

Batteries required: 3 x button cell (included)

Thanks Fisher Price, it's awesome!

We were sent this playset for the purpose of this post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
